An experienced Commercial Director, focussed on the digital economy and data centre spaces for the last twenty years.

Adam Bradshaw is a leading voice in the data centre industry, recently celebrating his 18th year in the sector.

Adam has a unique perspective of the customer experience, having started his career as an engineer. Stints working behind the scenes to help optimise the customer experience and auditing contracts has allowed him to ensure that revenue is maximised, and customer churn is reduced to an absolute minimum.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team at data centre specialists ServerChoice, Adam has full P&L ownership for the sales, marketing and customer success functions.

The net result?

More new customers than ever before, fewer contract terminations, and an NPS score of nearly double the industry standard.

Adam has advised and worked with a wide variety of organisations to optimise their data centre infrastructure over the last 20 years.

Adam has appeared as a subject matter expert on national television, podcasts and in print.

Enterprise Sales – New Business
Responsible for new client acquisition from sourcing through to contract negotiation and close. Managed complex, multiple-phase bid processes, from initial NDA, through RFI, RFQ, RFP, technical, due diligence (including tours), and contract stages.

Consultative approach led to the largest new wins in the company in 2009, 2010 and 2011 (an EU-funded academic institution; a New York headquartered full-service global investment and securities firm; and a credit analysis firm respectively, as well as leading and winning the bid for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic broadcast project.

Further formal tender wins included a £1.15m contract for Great Britain’s longest-established provider of personalised investment management and wealth management services for private investors and trustees; and execution of a £700k contract to provision and manage a highly-available colocation environment for a US-headquartered petrochemical company, despite the spinning off of its downstream business.

Responsible for existing key clients, managing an account deck of over £10m of annual recurring revenue over a diverse range of sectors, including hedge funds, carriers, Content Delivery Networks, academic institutions, law firms and social media platforms, as well as being the commercial lead for the World Feed for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

TelecityGroup was subsequently acquired by Equinix in 2016.

Four years invested in helping to grow the start-up operator (closing or managing around 70% of the business’ revenue), winning clients in private banking, wealth management, private equity, multinational design, e-Discovery, digital forensics, motion picture visual effects, machine learning and connectivity markets.
